I am glad to know about this process of getting the specific recommendations for developing a Public Health Roadmap for the Ministry. I feel Community Health improvement is the urgent need and my recommendations are as follows:

1. Developing the Health Infrastructure of the Country

 - Ensure at least one Primary Health Centre (PHC) in each mandal
 - Equip PHCs with basic infrastructure including instruments, vehicles and medicines.
 - Recruit sufficient Doctors and other staff and provide housing facilities to them
2. Preventive Care

 - Community Mobilization with participation
 - Medical Care & support - Immunization, delivery etc.
 - Nutrition support
 - Potable water and water for other domestic needs including agriculture.
 - Proper sanitation facilities

In the area of Disability in general and particularly Mental Retardation (MR), prevention is the major concern as the children with MR needs support for their whole life. They are denied legal rights compared to their normal counterparts.
3. Communicable Diseases

 - Good Prevention strategy
 - Care and support with respect to medical and nutrition support.
 - Awareness and Sensitization

I hope the recommended points works for the targeted issue and are based on the ground reality in the rural villages of Andhra Pradesh in particular and general in the country. I will be happy to work with the team.
